Gateway Performing Arts Center is the home of the Old St. Paul’s Players, a professional theater company dedicated to presenting the very best works of the stage, both classic and contemporary.  The mission of the Old St. Paul’s Players is to educate, edify, and bring a defensible Joy to the communities of the Southwest.  Our productions intend to:

• Explore the “Great Ideas” of our cultural inheritance through drama

• Present drama which examines and articulates the ideas and values of Modern/Western culture

• Cultivate both the mind and a sound moral sentiment

Set in a charming, yet intimate, venue, patrons are able to feel a part of the action.  After performances, guests are encouraged to stay for our moderated “fireside discussions” in the comfort of the Center’s library, a perfect venue to discuss the ideas and issues raised in the course of the evening’s performance. 

The Gateway Performing Arts Center’s Actor Training Program, an extension of Gateway Preparatory Academy, is the vehicle whereby both Academy graduates and interested, dedicated members of the general public are trained in the necessary skills to not only make them fine actors, but true purveyors and representatives of Culture and Theater.
